It's been a while since I talked about my class set of ipads. I think I was so worried about causing envy from readers that I held back some! Silly, right? I know MANY of you have access to one, five, or a grade level set of ipads, and we could totally share with each other what we have learned.
One of my blogging best friends Ashley has a great Technology Tip Tuesday- and I just love this idea so I decided to piggyback of her idea. Who can resist a good alliteration any who?
Did I mention that Ashley and I got to meet IN.REAL.LIFE??? Yes- that is me yelling because she is just that sweet and fun!
Sorry, back to the point of the post, I think I am going to start a weekly feature about ipads/smartboards/etc. This will be great for two reasons 1. I can share what I have learned 2. It will motivate me to try new things with my kids to share with you! Any interest in making this a weekly linky? If you feel that you have some techy advice, please comment or shoot me an email so I can set it up!
My first techy tip is a biggie. I am sharing with you my presentation that I gave with another ipad 1:1 classroom teacher. We gave this presentation FIVE times in one day for our district and once at the state level (eek!). There are a gazillion amazing apps out there, but this presentation includes a couple dozen of our favorite (paid and free) apps.

Don't forget to let me know if you have some techy advice to share!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much! This is the first year our school has an iPad cart (30 iPads for class use). Each classroom gets to use it once a week and I love suggestions of good apps to use in 1st grade. Thanks again! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I have been searching math app for 1st grade students. One of my friend recommended me Splash Math. I checked it. This app is really very helpful for learning math activities and offers basic math problem.
