I have this blue wall in my classroom- which I loved.
Yes, that is past tense. I realized it might be making my room look smaller. I also think that things don't stick out as much on the blue.
So I decided to paint.
Looks better doesn't it?
I am going to roll one more coat, but I am pretty happy with it!
I also have decided to do all my bulletin boards in one color. Right now I am torn between my pretty blue or going black. Opinions?
Now for the winners of the giveaway:

Darn! I didn't win, but I'll still visit. :0)
ReplyDeletePersonally, I always do the backgrounds of my bulletin boards in black. I think it makes everything "pop" right out! Good luck on your decision! Have a great night!

I like the new paint job. I say go black. It would match that border so well.
ReplyDeleteI am doing blue backgrounds for the bulletin boards and black borders (variations which might be black with white polka dots or black/white gingham) this year.

The white wall looks GREAT! But I have to ask...what happened to the Chicka Chicka Blend Tree??? :-) I personally think that with the white walls and zebra accents a blue background would be nice. You're so great at matching, though, that whatever you do will look fantastic! I got the call that my room is ready...guess it's back to reality ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh Claire- I have BIG plans for the Chicka Chicka Blenda Tree! I will there every morning this week to knock out a big chunk!
DeleteGood news, the little one that we share LOVES the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom! I told him about your tree and read the book to him this week. When I asked him if he had read this book before his response was (clear as day), "Oh yeah!" :)
DeleteKatie,
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and your walls are coming together.
I wanted to award you the Versatile Blogger Award!

I think the black would be good. Did you see where someone said that they use the sheets from Walmart for their bulletin boards covering. Cheap and last...Just an idea....can't wait to see more :)
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous that you get to paint...It looks great! I personally am a huge fan of black. It truly does make everything pop. Plus you can choose any color to accent the black and it will look fabulous:)
