I got the dreaded email.... "A, B, and C were literally about uncontrollable."
That would be the email about three of my friends' behavior while I was away today.
I think some of you know...
Mr. King messed up his hand pretty badly. A saw and his fingers met in the kind of way you don't want a table saw and fingers to meet...
Today I had to take him to see an orthopedic surgeon. So as you can guess that means I had a sub for part of the day. Luckily I have a fantastic sub and a collaborating teacher in the room, but as you can see from the snippet above, I still had an issue or two.
I wanted to come up with a way to reward the students who were on task and behaving and give my students who misbehaved a chance to think about their behavior.
Enter cute Melonheadz graphics....
For those students who made you proud-
And for those students who you love DEARLY, but need to rethink their behavior...
For those times you just HAVE to be out, here are my favorite resources to help your SUB make it through the day in one piece:
Love the behavior notes. Gotta pin those. Thanks for sharing.

I know exactly what you're going through. Nine years ago this month, my husband was up late working on the nursery. His hand slipped when cutting on the table saw, and he cut the ends of 3 fingers off. Many trips to surgeons and rehab, but he's doing well now. I hope all will go well for your husband.
ReplyDeleteGiven the way that autos devalue in quality so quickly, moneylenders do incline toward their clients to have some sort of initial installment to help borrowers abstain from having an auto advance that is worth more than their auto itself. Borrowers who do have an initial installment are viewed as okay to loan specialists and as a result of this they by and large think that its less demanding to acquire fund at a lower financing cost. payday loans chicago
