Thinking Ahead...Classroom Decor

I will beg and plead for your forgiveness in regards to my lengthy absence at a later date, but for now I want to talk about packing and loading up our stuff!
As I loaded--one of many loads---out of my classroom into the back of my car, I thought of you all.  Remember, I am moving?  Yes, yes, in case you missed it- the Kings are moving to Charleston, SC.

My adorable husband thought I would just leave all of my classroom stuff here.

Let's pause to ponder the absurdity of that idea.

Does he not remember how LONG it took me to find all those bins that matched???  Oh right, he was only half way listening.

Anywho, I thought of you guys because decorating my classroom is one of my favorite things I do each year!
So if you are thinking ahead to next year, you may be interested in one of my Classroom Decor sets.

Tomorrow I officially close my classroom so I will be back with a REAL blog post on Wednesday!!!

  1. Good luck on your move. Isn't it funny how many of us get to the end of the year and immediately start thinking about the next year.

  3. Men never listen! LOL! I bet he wouldn't want you to leave them behind if he found out how much money you actually spent "matching" everything up! LOL! Best of luck with your move, Katie!

  5. Ooh, goodness! I LOVE your decor sets! Unfortunately, my room is green and yellow - which I should've thought through before choosing...nothing is ever green and yellow!!

Anyway, good luck on the move! Hopefully you'll get to rest a bit soon! Happy summer!!

  16. Moving is never fun, but I must say you're coming to a wonderful area! This is my first year teaching in Charleston and I love it here (especially compared to the NY weather I came from!). Good luck :)

  17. Moving is so overwhelming good luck! I am moving classrooms this year so I had to haul all of my teaching stuff home until I get my classroom assignment for next year. My house is bursting!

  18. Hey there! I was just blog stalking on a summer night and saw that you're moving to Charleston! I live and teach here. It is my most favorite place in the world. Always so beautiful with something fun to do. I hope you love it! I taught for 5 years in Dorchester Two and am transferring to a private school next year. I know the pain of moving classrooms...Good luck with the move and transition!
